Grand Jury indicts two on Second Degree Murder

A Lafayette Grand Jury has handed up indictments in connection with a March shooting death.

32-year-old Sean Perroncel of Lafayette and 23-year-old Maximilian Trautmann were both indicted on one count of Second Degree Murder in the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Pernell Mitchell Boudreaux. This indictment was handed down on March 27.

Pernell Boudreaux was found on Lebesque Road in Lafayette on March 9.

Perroncel was originally charged with Accessory After the Fact to Second-Degree Murder, but the charge was upgraded to Second Degree Murder.

The two men now have both indicted on one count of Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine.
