The City of Lafayette's first Ashley HomeStore opened today on Westmark Boulevard.
The new business is at the former location of Olinde's Furniture, which was sold last year.
"We're thrilled to usher in a new chapter at this long-standing location while continuing Olinde's long-standing commitment to service, selection and value," says John Malkey, regional director of sales for Ashley HomeStore.
The store was officially opened at a ceremony hosted by store officials and representatives of OneAcadiana.
Store hours are Monday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., Sunday noon- 8 p.m.
Last month, Ashley HomeStore reopened the former Olinde's store in Baton Rouge. Ashley HomeStore also operates showrooms in Denham Springs, Gonzales, Harahan, Houma, Lake Charles, Opelousas, and Ponchatoula.
