Early childhood educators in Lafayette now have a better understanding of the best practices in the classroom thanks to the Classroom on Wheels.
The mobile classroom was on site at the Vermilion Conference Center today.
It's part of the On Track by Five Alliance and the goal is to help increase kindergarten readiness through professional opportunities for educators.
Christine Duay, Director of Early Childhood for LPSS, said, "It's a chance for students to have a field trip at their site. Students learn new techniques for developmentally age appropriate activity, teachers see modeled lessons, so it's a win-win situation for both teachers and students."
