The City of Ville Platte will set up a mobile COVID-19 testing site in the city on Friday.
Testing will take place at the Northside Civic Center beginning at 10 a.m. Mobile testing will be conducted by Southwest Primary Healthcare Center, according to Mayor Jennifer Vidrine.
Vidrine added that Ville Platte is the first municipality in Iberia Parish to have mobile testing available for anyone.
