The City of Ville Platte and Evangeline Parish are teaming up with St. Mary Parish to increase economic development.
The goal of the partnership is to generate new ideas to boost tourism.
Ville Platte Mayor Jennifer Vidrine explained, "Because we are both small cities working together, and we can learn from each other and we can let other people know there are a lot of things to see in small cities."
