Funeral services have been announced for Ville Platte resident Joyce Thomas.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 14, at 11 a.m. at Ninth Baptist Church in Ville Platte, according to Thomas' family.
Thomas leaves behind four children and several grandchildren.
Joyce Thomas was reported missing on February 26 and her body was found just days later along I-49 in St. Landry Parish.

Thomas' family said that even though their mother lived in a silent world, she never let the silence hinder her.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help with funeral expenses and to help the family seek answers in their mother's case.
