LAFAYETTE — The Ragin' Cajuns are gearing up to take on Mississippi State at Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Saturday, with junior Levi Lewis as their starting quarterback.
Last season, Lewis split time with Andre Nunez, playing in all 14 games for the Cajuns.
Head Coach, Bill Napier is confident that Lewis has what it takes mentally to lead his team.
"I think he's got a great foundation, a bank of knowledge that he went through last year as he prepared," Head Coach Napier said. "Knowing that hey, look I'm going to get an opportunity each week to run out there and play. Certainly, I think that experience made his off season different. He kind of knows now what to expect."
