Sulphur Police are investigating the drowning of a 4-year-old boy, reports KPLC.
Capt. Jason Gully said the boy was reported missing on Friday, February 14. His mother told police the family was taking a nap and when she woke up around 2 o'clock, her son was missing.
Police searched the area and found the boy partially submerged and deceased in a neighbor's pool.
Capt. Gully said it is unknown how the boy entered the pool area. The pool was fenced in, as per Sulphur City Ordinance.
