The International Rice Festival has announced the line-up for this year’s festival, set for October 17-20, 2019.
Celebrating its 83rd year, the Rice Festival remains an admission-free event. Music begins on Thursday evening, with entertainment and events on two sound stages.
The Cramer Equipment stage will be shuffling to the sounds of Cupid on Friday, October 18 along with other festival favorites such as Country Round-Up and The Fleurtations. The Voice Runner Up, Gyth Rigdon will be performing on the Supreme Rice stage on Saturday, October 19 followed by Carencro native, Marc Broussard.
“We are very excited about the lineup this year. This is a big part of our festival that would not happen without our sponsors,” says Josh Spell, 2019 Festival Chairman.
