The City of Youngsville is reminding residents of road closures and alternate routes in place during roundabout construction at the intersection of Detente Road and Chemin Metairie Parkway.
Since Wednesday, October 2, the intersection of Detente Road and Chemin Metairie Parkway has become a 3-way stop.
Officials say the 3-way stop is expected to remain for the next 9 months as construction continues.
During Phase 1 of the Project, the Détente Road south portion of the intersection will be closed for at least 4 months. Détente South will not be accessible from that intersection.
Motorists will need to use alternate routes to access Détente Road via Hwy 89 south to Chemin Agreeable to Détente and will need to take Détente south to Chemin Agreeable to Hwy 89 leaving the RV Park or residences in the Détente south area.
