Today, we were at Evangeline Elementary and it’s a pretty great school.
We should know, because Katie Lopez attended Evangeline.
Hanna Lejeune she wants to make it even better for her students so she asked for flexible seating to kind of make the learning experience a little bit easier, a little more comfortable so with the help of KATC and Jim Olivier Family of Companies we got them some seats.
"We got some stools and some seating. I think it’s going to help us because the desk can get kind of boring you know and I think whenever I’m having fun I can learn easier," said student Austin Francois.
"The spinning seat is like you’re able to sit on it and then like you can spin and the flex seat is a circular cushion that when you’ll sit it wouldn’t be as hard as on the chair so it will be softer and it’ll be more comfortable," said Maddie Shuff.
"So I requested for my kids to have the option of Flex seating. I chose that because I feel that if you’re comfortable with learning it engages us more then they’re going to be able to give me one hundred percent," said Lejeune.
