Tools for Schools is on the road again, on Thursday we were at Charles Burke Elementary.
They are changing with the times when it comes to learning, and Diedra Prudhomme requested electronic flash cards for her fourth-grade class. With the help of Jim Olivier's Family of Companies, we were able to deliver them.
"We got some multiplication, electronic multiplication flash cards that will really help us with learning multiplication facts," said student Dayvan Romero.
"They basically quiz you and you can like type the answer into it and it will tell you if you’re wrong or you're correct," added Riley Siner.
Prudhomme says these items will have a lasting impact on her students.
"So, when I opened that box and I saw that those devices were here and they were so excited about receiving them, I just thought about all of the possibilities. All the learning that is going to take place because of Tools for Schools and their partnership with Jim Olivier how it’s impacted my kids and how it’s going to continue to impact year after year with my future students. From the beginning of the school year next year my kids will have the supplies that they need so that we’re on top of multiplication from day one," she said.
