UPDATE: Suspect taken into custody for exposing himself at restaurant

UPDATE: On August 24, 2022 at 1:35 pm the suspect, Matthew Wedlock 30, of Opelousas returned to the same establishment located in the 3500 block of Ambassador Caffery.

Upon Wedlock’s return, Lafayette Police Officers were notified and Wedlock was taken into custody without incident.

Wedlock was transported and booked into Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on one count of Obscenity.

The Lafayette Police Department identified the below pictured suspect.

On August 23, 2022 the suspect entered an establishment located in the 3500 block of Ambassador Caffery. While inside of the establishment the suspect exposed himself within view of the victim.

ORIGINAL STORY: Lafayette Police say they're looking for a man who allegedly exposed himself to people at an Ambassador Caffery Parkway restaurant Tuesday night.

The case has been assigned to a detective, and Lafayette Police say they'll have more information soon.
