LAFAYETTE, La. - On Friday, students at Lafayette High School experienced what it's like to be deaf.
Deaf, Deaf World is an annual tradition at the school run by the school's American Sign Language Club.
The club has been putting on the event for 25 years.
Organizers say the entire day is an immersion experience, meaning no one talks all day.
Visitors got a chance to learn about the culture and history of deaf people.
