Funeral services have been set for Shenard Simmons, who was shot during a home invasion last week.
The funeral will be at Kinchen Funeral Home on February 8 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be 7 a.m. until time of service.
Simmons' mother posted an emotional plea to the person or persons who shot him on social media.
She wrote that she doesn't want to forgive them or pray for them, but she will because that is what God tells her to do.
"Please beg for God’s forgiveness and mercy, my son is gone," Katrina August writes. "God is merciful, it’s not too late for you."
