Plans released by LPSS for 2020 football games

LAFAYETTE — LPSS has announced its plans for safely hosting high school football games for the 2020-2021 school year.

In the list of protocols for this school year they stat that tickets will be available for pre-sale only and 25 percent stadium seating capacity with attendees required to wear
masks at all times.

Concessions at games will be limited to pre-packaged and sealed items.

Concerning football related events and organizations, homecoming dances will not be held but Senior and Homecoming festivities can still be organized by individual schools while adhering to strict safety guidelines.

LPSS says that for 25% of the total band or 50 band members max may be allowed to perform at home games if facilities can safely accommodate members. Band members must wear masks except
when performing on the field. They mention that this is subject to change.

Cheer and Dance Varsity squads may perform on Fridays at home games. Team members must remain on the track between sidelines and stadium seats. Masks must be worn at all times*
(except when performing on the field) and social-distancing rules must be observed. *subject to change
