The City of Carencro says that trash pickup with Pelican Waste will come early on Mardi Gras day.
Waste trucks will collect on that Tuesday, beginning at 3:00 a.m. The city says this will allow the trucks to complete their routes before parades begin in the areas they service.
The city asks that if residents regular trash pickup day is Tuesday, February 25, they must place trash bins at the curb before 3:00 a.m.
The change in pick up time will only affect trash collection on that day. All other days that week will continue as normal.
