The National Transportation Safety Board has issued its preliminary report on the recent Lafayette plane crash that claimed five lives and injured four others.
The report, which you can read for yourself below, does not add a lot to the preliminary information previously released by NTSB officials via press briefings.
You can see those briefings here and here.
The report, as the briefings did, provides details of the plane's take off and crash, including altitude. There are no rulings, explanations or theories in the report. NTSB officials have said the final report is not expected for at least 12 months.
NTSB has said they want to speak to any witnesses of the plane's flight and/or crash. To contact them, email witness@NTSB.gov
