The man wanted in connection with a Lafayette shooting on Saturday has been arrested.
According to an arrest report, 38-year-old Chad Credeur was arrested Monday, May 11 on an active warrant for attempted second degree murder.
Police say the shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 9 in the 400 block of Lourdes Street.
Officers said that two people were arguing when one allegedly shot the other in the stomach with a handgun.
The suspect, identified as Credeur, then fled the scene, police said.
The victim was treated at a local hospital.
