The Lafayette Parish School System has announced graduations will happen as scheduled - but now at Cajun Field and at different times.
The decision for ceremonies at Cajun Field was made at a special board meeting. More information will be released later Tuesday.
LPSS says the same security measures such as wearing masks and keeping socially distant will remain in effect. After you sit, you will be able to take off your mask, but if you get up, the mask must go back on.
No concessions will be sold, but water will be able to be purchased.
Guests will be escorted to seats (first come, first serve) using two separate entrances; graduates will have their own entrance.
