LAFAYETTE, La. — The Lafayette Transit System will not operate on Labor Day, according to Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG).
Daytime, Night Owl, and Paratransit services will be closed on Monday, September 4 and will resume the following day, Tuesday, September 5, LCG officials say.
Trash and recycling collection will not be affected by the Labor Day holiday.
The Dean Domingues Compost Facility will be closed for the Labor Day holiday.
