As we reported yesterday, the Lafayette chapter of PFLAG was out at the iconic Lafayette sign in downtown yesterday, painting it for Pride Month.
Last night, someone defaced the sign with paint.

Today, the members of PFLAG will be out there again, repainting the sign to celebrate Pride Month.
"I just want to remind everybody that everybody deserves a seat at the table and when we see things like this let it be a reminder that this hurts peoples' feelings," said Aimee Robinson, vice president of PFLAG. "Just be kind and think about how you would feel if it was yourself that put in a hard days work. Or if your kids had come out here and put in a hard days work."
