Lafayette Police are searching for a man accused of shooting someone during an argument Saturday evening.
Chad Credeur is wanted on a warrant for attempted second-degree murder.
The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Lourdes Street. Officers found that two people were arguing, and one shot the other in the stomach with a handgun. The suspect then fled the scene, police were told.
The victim is now being treated at a local hospital, police said.
The warrant was issued for Credeur, and police are looking for him.
