Lafayette Police investigating double homicide

LAFAYETTE, La. — Police are investigating a Friday morning shooting as a double homicide.

Curley Domingue, 18 of Lafayette and Diontrell Castille, 18 of Lafayette, were killed in the shooting, according to Sgt. Wayne Griffin, spokesperson for the Lafayette Police Department.

The incident occurred around 2:45 am on November 13, in the 700 block of Voorhies Street.

If anyone has any information about the incident, they are urged to contact the Lafayette Police Department.

This is an ongoing investigation.

Two people were injured Friday morning during a shooting incident in Lafayette.

The Lafayette Police Department says the incident occurred around 2:45 am on November 13, in the 700 block of Voorhies Street.

Upon arrival, the department says that officer located two people suffering from gunshot wounds.

Medical assistance was provided and the victims were taken to a local hospital.

Police say the conditions of the victims are unknown at this time.

An investigation is ongoing.
