According to Lafayette Police, officers responded to a shooting in the 800 block of Martin Luther King Drive.
The shooting took place around 1:30 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering with multiple gunshot wounds, according to a press release.
Officers said the suspect was told to leave an apartment who then returned and shot at the victims apartment.
The victim was transported with non-life threatening injuries. The shooting is under investigation.
