Lafayette PD issues warrants for 5 arrested for Baton Rouge ATM thefts

Lafayette Police say the five suspects arrested in Baton Rouge for attempted ATM thefts at Chase Banks are connected to the attempted ATM theft incident in Lafayette.

On February 17, 2020, Lafayette Police say that detectives with Baton Rouge Police Department made contact with Lafayette Police in reference to five suspects in custody following an attempted ATM theft.

Following an investigation by LPD, Police say it was learned that the same suspects were responsible for the attempted theft of an ATM from a local bank in the 5200 block of Johnston Street on Sunday, February 16 at approximately 2:25 am in Lafayette.

At the completion of the investigation with Baton Rouge PD, all five suspects will be transferred to the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center for booking on the active warrants for Attempted Theft (over $100,000), Criminal Conspiracy and Theft of a Motor Vehicle.

The suspects are as follows:

21-year-old Kobe Stephens, Houston, Tx.

18-year-old Kylan MaCoy, Pearland, Tx.

18-year-old Dartamian Landry, Houston, Tx.

20-year-old Davon Crumity, Houston, Tx

20-year-old Travonteay Stephens, Houston, Tx.
