The Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department will hold its fall youth sports registration this Saturday, September 12.
Residents can sign their children up from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Robichaux Center, located at 1919 Eraste Landry Road.
Sports include flag and tackle football, volleyball, baseball, and fast-pitch softball.
Recreation supervisor Walter Guillory says the registration process will be simple.
"We'll have the registration forms ready and available for them and it will be all spread out inside the Robicheaux Center here," explained Guillory. "It's a very easy process. Once that's done, whatever association that you sign up with, they will get in touch with you and let you know what is the next move."
