A Lafayette ER doctor has reunited with his family following a three-month battle with COVID-19.
Dr. Grant Lashley contracted the coronavirus in April and then suffered a stroke. He was on a ventilator for 39 days.
Lashley spent weeks in a Houston hospital, his family by his side. While in rehab, ABC documented his recovery. Watch their coverage above.
He returned home on Friday.
