Love of People hosted Julian's 4th Annual Diaper Drive today.
The non-profit organization collected all sizes and brands of children and adult diapers at Parc Sans Souci from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Love of People was originally developed in 1993 with the mission "Helping others, Help others."
Their mission is to help individuals grow as a member of a productive environment in order to improve community and family living.
Organizations that benefit include: Faith House, DesOrmeaux Foundation, C.U.P.S. (Communities Uniting in Prayer and Service), Thensted Center, and C.A.S.A.
Diaper collection started earlie this month, with drop-off locations throughout the city.
The event marks Julian Williams' birthday every year.
"I wanted my son to know that your life is more special than being selfish you know you have a life that you can share with the world and share with others and we do that Im getting him to learn that through doing service on his birthday," said Jonathan Williams.
Love of People is a group that conducts community projects and events aimed at providing a direct link between local businesses and the communities that they serve by partnering with existing community organizers and serving as a vetting system for citizens that live within the communities the group serves.
