BROUSSARD, La. — Halliburton Energy Services has laid off 36 employees at its Broussard facility in April.
According to a WARN notice sent to the Louisiana Workforce Commission, Halliburton laid off 36 oil & gas workers at its facility located at 4607 Hwy 90 E. in Broussard.
According to a letter from Halliburton to LWC, the layoff is expected to be a permanent employment loss. At this time it is expected that the facility will not remain open.
The date of notice to LWC for the layoffs is April 14, 2020.
