LAFAYETTE, La. - The National Kidney Foundation of Louisiana (NKFL) will be hosting a free "Keeping Your Kidneys Healthy" screening at Progressive Community Outreach Center in Lafayette on Saturday, October 26, 2019.
The screening will be held at 125 Gallian Street from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. This screening is designed to identify individuals at increased risk for kidney disease and encourage them to seek further evaluation and follow-up from a physician.
Screening tests include: blood pressure, weight, body mass index (BMI), urinalysis, and a blood draw. Participants will also have the chance to speak with a medical professional on-site about their risk factors and test results. All participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
