The post office on Feu Follet Road in Lafayette is expected to resume operations on Friday.
The Energy Center Post Office was closed on Sunday following a deadly plane crash on Saturday that killed 5 people and injured several others. The post office is expected to resume operations on Friday, January 3, 2020. Customers are now able to access the parking lot, retail area, P.O. Box section, and any public space at the Post Office.
The US Postal Service says that as of now, there is no disruption to post office delivery.
The center is located at 455 Feu Follet Road in Lafayette. The building received damage during the plane crash including blown in windows.
Retail Hours for the post office are Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm with Saturday and Sunday closed.
