The first concert of the fall Downtown Alive! season has been postponed.
Organizers posted the announcement on the event's social media pages around 5:30 p.m. Friday night, just 30 minutes before the online concert was set to begin.
The postponement is due to "unforeseen circumstances," and the concert will be rescheduled to a later date.
Tonight's performance was to feature Curley Taylor and Zydeco Trouble. DG & the Freetown Sound will perform next Friday.
This fall's schedule will be all virtual due to the pandemic, with performances streaming on DTA!'s Facebook page. You can find the lineup here.
