Drew Brees returned to Lafayette Monday for a private party at Surge Entertainment, just days before the family adventure park opens.

Brees invited the media in to get a sneak peak at the 43,000 square-foot facility, which opens Saturday.

The Lafayette facility is one of a kind, and the first Surge to feature a full trampoline park, karaoke room, sports simulators, bowling alley, arcade, restaurant and bar.

Brees got connected with Surge when he attended a birthday party at one. Brees had a vision to make Surge even more for the entire family.

"It's about the family and I know what it's like with my wife and I when we want to go out and have a nice meal. There's not many places we can go where are kids aren't gonna go stir crazy after 20 minutes. And yet a place like this, you're going to get great food, it's going to be a great service. Not just a great family place to go, but to bring your family, your teammates, bachelor party, bachelorette party. There's something here for everybody," he said.

Sports reporters Seth Lewis and Andrew Clay grabbed a GoPro and explored the entire facility. Check out their experience in the video below.
