Downtown Lafayette will host its first Sno-Ball Festival tonight, August 10, in Park Sans Souci from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
The event is taking place the same night as the monthly Artwalk.
The Festival will be a free family event full of kid's activities, Sno-Ball tasting, and a competition for best sno-ball.
The Sno-Ball Festival is a fundraiser for Downtown Lafayette Unlimited.

All sno-ball, beverage, & adult shaved ice cocktail purchases require tickets. We will accept cash & credit cards at the Triad welcome tent in exchange for tickets. Tickets will be sold in batches of 10 = $10.
All food & art market vendors will accept cash, and possibly cards.
People's Choice Voting: With every batch of 10 tickets purchased you will receive 2 voting tokens. People's Choice voting will be at the Triad welcome tent.

Activities include the Park Sans Souci fountain; face painting by The Beluga Project; a children's painting booth by Bleu Poppy Art Studio; a fun jump and water slide; a tent by the Children's Museum of Acadiana; the Lafayette Public Library book mobile; and MLRmagic.com, a Lafayette comedy magician, face painter, and balloon artist.
Live music will be performed by The Rayo Brothers and School of Rock Lafayette.
