A local artist has started a musical challenge giving others a voice through his music.
Byrons "Cupid" Bernard started the #WhatsWrongUSAchallenge to speak out against racial injustice and police brutality. The song is titles "What's Wrong USA."
Cupid says that in this challenge, he sings a part of the song but a large portion is open to anyone who "wants to speak on the situation."
"I sing the hook on the song I left the 20 bar verse open for any singer, rapper, poet, anyone who wants to speak on the situation and it's a way to use music as a way to inform people about what's going on." Bernard said.
In a message on Facebook Cupid calls on the public to use the song to "express your pain and educate the people who for some reason don’t understand why so many Americans are upset."
Cupid has been sharing artists interpretations and words on his page.
