The former location of Blue Dog Café in Lafayette will soon be home to a different familiar restaurant.
Owners of Bon Temps Grill Patrick and Steven O'Bryan announced on Wednesday that the grill will be moving to the new location on Pinhook Road later this year.
The move is scheduled to take place in October or November, and during that time the location will be remodeled. The current Bon Temps location at 1312 Verot School Road will remain open until moving day.
The O'Bryans say the menu will consist of all the Bon Temps favorites plus several new creations.
Bon Temps will feature a cocktail bar, live music, and a New Orleans-style Sunday Jazz Brunch.
