Lake Arthur Police would like to caution citizens against any unnecessary traveling during this unprecedented winter weather event. Road conditions are deteriorating and will continue to do so over the next few hours. In an effort to maintain the safety of our citizens and first responders we ask that you stay off the roadways unless it is an emergency situation. We understand that some individuals will have to travel to and from work during this time. Please slow down and be extremely cautious while driving. Failure to limit travel may result in extended wait times before emergency personnel can reach you.
