The road closures for the Welsh Mardi Gras Parade has been released.
On Saturday, February 8, 2020, the Eastbound and Westbound exit ramps on I-10 will close at 3:15 pm for 45 minutes.
For access to LA 99 North and South, use Exit 48 (Lacassine) for Eastbound traffic and Exit 59 (Roanoke) for Westbound traffic.
During the parade, access to Adams Street (LA Hwy. 99) will be closed at the intersections marked with a red X on the map.
For access to the 4:00 pm mass at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Church, access via Adams St. will be blocked. Travel north from US Hwy. 90 on S. Sarah St., then turn east onto Welsh St. to access the rear parking lot.
