Jeff Davis Parish deputies arrested a Beaumont man Monday after he allegedly tried to break into his ex's camper through the storage compartment.
Christian Jacob Goodly, 26, was booked with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling.
He's accused of trying to break into the camper in which his ex and their child were living in. The camper was located on La. 383 in Kinder, deputies say.
They were called to the camper Monday night, by the resident who said her child's father was trying to get into her camper vai the storage compartment's outside door.
Deputies found Goodly nearby and arrested him after he allegedly admitted to trying to break in.
