LAKE ARTHUR, La. — Pit bulls are now allowed in the Town of Lake Arthur, KPLC is reporting.
Wednesday night, the Town Council voted unanimously to repeal a decades-old ordinance that banned pit bulls.
Town officials say because of the difficulty in identifying the specific breed, it was difficult to enforce and could be costly.
