Jeff Davis Parish officials are asking residents to not clear any right of way to their property until the Jeff Davis Electric Company clears the right of way.
There are numerous life-threatening hazards, officials say, as well as potential to do more damage to the parish's systems.
Residents are asked to please wait to clear any right of way until JDEC is available to clear a path for you.
