A Korean War commemorative celebration was held Thursday at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home in Jennings.
Organizers say recognizing their residents who are veterans is part of the culture at the vet's home.
"This year marks 64 years that the Korean conflict ended," said Kaly Gist, Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home. "And we have 51 Korean Veterans that live here, so we wanted to bring their families in and recognize them."
