Jennings Police are currently investigating a fatal shooting on West Street.
Police Chief Danny Semmes confirms with us that two people were shot tonight and one did not survive.
Chief Semmes said that investigators are currently working the crime scene and a person of interest is in custody. The shooting happened around 9 p.m.
This is an ongoing investigation.
