The Jennings Police Department is investigating a shooting that left three people hospitalized.
The shooting happened on Wilbert D Rochelle Avenue at around 5:00 pm Thursday, November 5.
According to Chief Danny Semmes two groups were involved in an altercation when the shooting happened. A total of three people were shot, two from one group and one from the other. All three were transported to a local hospital.
Semmes says they have a person of interest identified and they are getting statements from witnesses and executing search warrants for everyone that was part of this incident.
This is an ongoing investigation.
