The Jennings Main Street Farmer's Market is held every Saturday in Founders Park in downtown Jennings.
It's been a fixture downtown for 15 years.
On average you'll find 13 vendors selling fruits, vegetables, eggs, baked goods and crafts.
"There's a level of transparency that you don't normally get with grocery stores," said Whitney Baker, Jennings Main Street Farmer's Market. "You don't see the people who are growing your foods."
The farmers market is launching new hours.
Starting Saturday July 13, the market will be open from 9 am until noon every Saturday throughout the year in Founders Park.
