Deputies in Jeff Davis Parish are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a Thursday night shooting incident on US 165.
25-year-old Isaiah Gregory Pete is wanted after allegedly firing at his ex-girlfriend's vehicle on November 12 as the two drove next to each other on US 165.
Deputies say that at the time of the shooting there were seven children inside of the victim's vehicle.
According to the department, five shots struck the vehicle causing damage to the car.
No occupants were injured.
Pete allegedly fled in a small black sports car.
Pete is wanted for Eight counts of Aggravated Assault with a firearm.
