New Iberia Police are searching for two men wanted in connection with a Wednesday night shooting.
According to a spokesperson, police responded around 11:45 p.m. to a shooting in the 400 block of Center St. Officers located two victims who had been shot; both were taken to local hospitals to be treated for their injuries.
NIPD obtained arrest warrants for Jeramie Jackson, Jr. on one charge of attempted second degree murder and Hunter Lowe for aggravated second battery. Lowe is also wanted on a charge of soliciting for prostitution.
