NEW IBERIA, La. — The New Iberia Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday night in New Iberia.
The call came in at approximately 6:42 pm.
The incident occurred in the 500 block of Julia Street, according to Sgt. Daesha Hughes, PIO.
There is one individual that was injured. The victim was last reported to be in stable condition.
There are currently no suspects, Sgt. Hughes says.
