Earlier this month, Iberia Parish Sheriff's deputies found a body in the parking lot of a South Lewis Street business.
Today, they have booked a Lakeland woman in connection with the death; the investigation is continuing.
Crystal Laiche, 22, was booked with failure to seek assistance. She turned herself in to deputies this morning.
The body was identified as Jacob Adams, 24, of Livingston.
